INTRODUCTION

American Samoa Rugby Mo Le Lumana'i Foundation was founded to build lasting infrastructure behind the athletes who carry American Samoa's name onto the international stage. 'Mo le Lumana'i' means 'for the future' in Samoan. Our purpose: creating sustainable pathways in youth development, girls and women's rugby, coaching and referee education, and national team support, so that talent connected to American Samoa, whether on-island or across the diaspora, has a clear route to compete at the highest level.

The ASRLF received it's IRS 501(c)3 tax-exempt status and determination letter in June, 2026, so we are still establishing our donor profile on Candid and other sites/

Any donations all fully tax-deductible and ASRLF will share transparent and public financial records when available.

MISSION

"To develop pathways from grassroots participation to national team excellence in rugby sevens by providing training, financial support, and competitive opportunities that enable athletes in and connected to American Samoa to reach their full potential."

We support rugby programs for youth from elementary to high school age in American Samoa, providing a place to play, learn the game, and build the skills that can carry them onto national team pathways. This is where the long-term talent pipeline starts.

GIRLS AND
WOMEN'S RUGBY

We aim to fund and support programs built specifically for girls and women, from grassroots participation up through the Segaula national sevens team. Women's rugby in American Samoa needs dedicated investment to grow. We appreciate your support!

COACH & ADMINISTRATOR EDUCATION

We work to help coaches and administrators in and connected to American Samoa access qualify education to World Rugby standards. Great programs need strong coaching and support on the ground, so we are working to build that capacity to support rugby on the island.

NATIONAL TEAMS SUPPORT

We are funding player identification camps, travel, and preparatory competition costs for the Talavalu (men's) and Segaula (women's) national sevens teams, connecting eligible players both on-island and across the U.S. mainland to represent American Samoa internationally.
