American Samoa Rugby Mo Le Lumana'i Foundation (referred to in this policy as "ASRLF," "we," "us," or "the Foundation") is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (EIN 41-4949141) organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes. The mission of the ASRLF is to develop pathways from grassroots participation to national team excellence in rugby sevens by providing training, financial support, and competitive opportunities that enable athletes in and connected to American Samoa to reach their full potential. This policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information when you visit lumanairugby.org, make a donation, register for a program, or otherwise interact with us. By using our website or providing your information to us, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or provide us with your information.

 

Information We Collect

We collect information in the following ways:

• Information you give us directly. This includes your name, email address, mailing address, phone number, and any other details you provide when you fill out a contact form, sign up for updates, register for a camp or program, apply to a player pool, or make a donation.

• Payment information. When you make a donation or pay a registration or assembly fee through our website, your payment is processed by a third-party payment processor (such as Zeffy and its underlying processor, Stripe). We do not collect or store your full credit card number or banking details on our own systems. Please refer to those providers' own privacy policies for how they handle your payment data.

• Information collected automatically. When you visit our website, certain information is collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies, including your IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, and how you arrived at our site. We use Google Analytics for this purpose.

• Program and player information. If you or your child participates in a player identification camp, national team pool, or other ASRLF or ASRU-affiliated program, we may collect additional information relevant to that program, such as eligibility documentation, emergency contact information, and athletic performance data.

 

How We Use Your Information

• We use the information we collect to:

• Process donations and issue tax-deductible donation receipts

• Process registration and assembly fee payments

• Communicate with you about our programs, events, and fundraising efforts

• Administer player identification camps, national team pools, and other rugby development programs

Donor Privacy

ASRLF respects the privacy of our donors. We do not sell, rent, or trade donor information to any third party for marketing purposes. ASRLF's mission includes youth rugby development, and some of our programs involve participants under the age of 18. Where we collect information about a minor for purposes of program registration, player identification, or national team pool consideration, we require the consent of a parent or legal guardian, who is responsible for providing accurate information on the minor's behalf.

We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 through our website without parental consent. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information without parental consent, please contact us using the information below so we can address it.

 

How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:

• Service providers who help us operate, such as our website host, payment processors, email service provider, and accounting professionals, solely for the purpose of providing those services to us, and to you.

• Amerika Samoa Rugby Union (ASRU), where necessary to coordinate player identification camps, national team pools, and program eligibility, and only to the extent needed for that coordination.

• Government agencies, where required by law, such as IRS reporting related to our tax-exempt status

• Professional advisors, such as legal counsel or auditors, when necessary.

• ASRLF and ASRU are separate, independently governed organizations. Information shared between us for program coordination does not make either organization responsible for the other's data practices.
