Camp is on Friday, July 17th - Aiga Rugby Bowl is July 18th
The American Samoa Rugby Mo Le Lumana'i Foundation (ASRLF) returns to the mainland with its third national team player identification camp of 2026, heading to Long Beach, California on Friday, July 17 at St. Anthony Athletic Complex.
The Long Beach camp follows previous ID camps in Bluffdale, Utah (March) and American Samoa (April), continuing ASRLF's effort to reach American Samoa-eligible players across many communities and build a competitive player pool for the Talavalu and Segaula, American Samoa's men's and women's national 7s programs. Talavalu Head Coach and ASRLF Co-Chair Mose Timoteo leads on-field evaluation, with ASRLF Co-Chair and Treasurer Kristin Richeimer Timoteo managing operations.
Southern California is one of the largest concentrations of American Samoa-connected athletes in the United States, and the Long Beach camp runs the day before the 2nd Annual AIGA Rugby Bowl, a premier Polynesian high school and middle school rugby event, where Coach Timoteo will be present as an official recruiter. Players attending both get two days of visibility with the national team coaching staff at a critical point in the selection cycle ahead of the Oceania Rugby 7s Championship and the 2027 Pacific Games in Tahiti.

Players unable to attend the Long Beach camp but interested in future ID opportunities can complete the interest form at lumanairugby.org.
